Are you ready to start your journey to healing and overall wellness? Are you depressed, or does your life goals seem unachievable? There is hope! I stand committed to being present and attentive in reaching you wherever you are at this moment in your journey. As a therapist some of my core values are; respect, transparency, self-love, empathy and having a sense of “balance.” In therapy, we endeavor to create a safe and calm atmosphere free of fear and judgment so that clients can be content to disclose whatever is impacting them.
Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which a therapist with clinical experience working with couples, helps two people involved in a romantic relationship gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions. Couples therapy tends to involve the following general elements:
A focus on a specific problem (i.e. sexual difficulties, infidelity, jealousy)
Active participation on the part of the therapist in treating the relationship itself, rather than each individual separately.
Solution-focused, change-oriented interventions early on in treatment.
A clear establishment of treatment objectives.
Preteens and Teens
We offer a therapeutic approach just for preteens and teens. We provide a safe and professional environment with the aim to better understand preteens and teens. We are able to help them express their feelings, identify and solve problems, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
