Kadesha Floyd, LMSW
Do you struggle to communicate in ways that do not allow you to feel heard or understood? Would you like to learn how to create effective boundaries and feel valued? Are you struggling as you navigate through life's challenges? As a therapist, I have experience working with adults, older adults, children, families, couples, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I am here to help to teach you positive coping techniques to help you overcome difficult situations.
I am a Licensed Master Level Social Worker who obtained a degree from Fordham University. I am a devoted therapist determined to provide the best therapeutic experience to clients from all walks of life. Born and raised in Connecticut, I've gotten the opportunity to work with various people from different ages and backgrounds.
My area of focus includes anxiety, depression, Trauma/PTSD, low self-esteem, family conflict, peer relationships, domestic violence, and anger management.
Evidence based models I use includes Motivational interviewing (MI), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution-focused intervention, Crisis intervention and Trauma informed practices.
I provide service to: children, adolescents, and adults, in terms of individual therapy, family therapy or couples counseling.
Alexa Chalas, LMSW
I’m a passionate Licensed Master Social Worker committed to helping you through life’s challenges, changes and experiences. I obtained my Masters Degree from Fairfield University. I have many years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. My work includes helping those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, victims of domestic violence, and parent/child issues. I will provide a judge-free healing space and together we will create the right combination of skills and techniques to effectively help you navigate and manage through life’s challenges. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and help you in your journey to becoming a better version of yourself.

Mabel Taveras, LMSW
A passionate and dedicated Latina (fluent Spanish and English) therapist, born in New York and raised in Connecticut. With years of personal, educational, and work experience serving others. I can provide a compassionate, safe, confidential, and judgment free-zone to discuss life stressors that become barriers towards an enhanced quality of life.
I am a Licensed Master level Social worker and obtained my Masters degree from Fordham University. I understand the importance of knowledge and am dedicated to furthering my education and skill set. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, LGBTQ+, individuals overcoming substance use and mental health concerns, ex- cons, victims of domestic violence, homelessness, and immigration concerns. Together, we will use different methodologies focusing on conflict resolution with a Trauma informed approach to overcome obstacles and increase self-awareness. My goal is to meet the client where they are, create a customized plan, and encourage an enhanced lifestyle using empowerment, mindfulness, and motivational theories. With consistency, resilience, and support, I believe we can live to be the best version of ourselves.
